Noa Griffel

(She/Her)

Noa Griffel is a Brooklynite who began working professionally at 14. She was discovered by Lyor Cohen after her first shoot at Atlantic Records. He famously called Noa at 7am after seeing her photographs and said “Good morning, I’m gonna make you fucking huge...”

Her work is a collision of technical skill and other-world-ism that is as beautiful as it can be offhand. Light and color are her preferred vehicles. Whether the subject is captured in filmic grain or set in sharp relief, her photos contain both an ease and intentionality that is as difficult to achieve as it is easy to like.

Noa went on to become the photographer at large for Tory Burch for 15 years. She has shot campaigns for clients such as Estee Lauder, Youtube, Conde Nast, DKNY, Vogue, Michael Kors and many more. She has worked with actors and musicians like Uma Thurman, J Balvin, Rashida Jones, Zoey Deutsch and many more.

With work published in every major US fashion publication, Noa’s range spans editorial, documentary, campaign, product, e-commerce, and digital manipulation. Multimedia collage is another part of her practice.
